Biomechanics
Coaching

Most people think pain comes from the place it hurts. Very often, it doesn't. Biomechanics coaching looks at how your whole body moves as a connected system — identifying where real problems begin.

It sits in the missing space between personal training and physiotherapy.

What Is Biomechanics Coaching?

I assess how your joints, muscles and nervous system work together — identifying where your body has adapted to move in a compromised way to avoid discomfort or restriction. These adaptations are often the real source of problems people put up with for years.

They commonly show up as:

Hip tightness Knee pain Lower back discomfort Shoulder restriction Poor balance Limited mobility
The problem is rarely
where you feel it.

How It Works

1

Full Body Movement Assessment

We assess how your entire body moves — joints, muscles and nerve pathways — to find the true source of restriction or imbalance.

2

Muscle Release & Rehabilitation (1–4 weeks)

Simple, focused muscle releasing and rehabilitation exercises to restore proper movement patterns.

3

Re-Teaching Correct Movement

Once the body is released, we retrain muscles into improved patterns using progressive, cohesive movement sequences.

4

Return to Exercise — Better Than Before

You return to your normal training with improved results — or continue into a fully integrated programme.

Why This Is Different

Approach
What it does
Personal Training
Often strengthens existing compensations
Physiotherapy
Often treats the symptom
Biomechanics
Identifies why the compensation exists — and corrects it before building strength on top

This is why the results feel different — and last.

Who This Is For

This is ideal if you:

A Common Example

Real world case

The pelvis has a dysfunction — this is incredibly common — but the symptom shows up as knee pain or limited hip mobility.

We correct the pelvis. The knee improves.

Pricing

Because of the depth of assessment and specialist knowledge involved, biomechanics sessions are priced slightly higher than standard personal training.

Full Biomechanics Assessment & Rehab Session

£80
  • Full body assessment
  • Muscle release techniques
  • Personalised rehabilitation plan

Integrated Biomechanics Personal Training

£60
  • Progressive training on correct mechanics
  • Built on restored movement patterns
  • Ongoing assessment included

I usually recommend 3–4 assessment sessions in the early stages, depending on your goals and how quickly your body responds.

"Something just doesn't
feel even when I move."

If that sounds familiar — this is for you.
